Purchasers must be 18 years of age or older to purchase items. Minors under the age of 18 must not register as users of the website or transact on the website.
Orders placed for products and services via this website are between you and Mercurius International LLC, trading under the name JYSK, with commercial licence number 789734 issued by the Emirate of Dubai’s Department of Economic Development, and head quartered at Umm Suqeim Street, Al Barsha 2, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

As our company is domiciled in the United Arab Emirates, any purchase, dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this website shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

In order to provide you with the products and services that you request, we store your data when you create a user profile, sign up for our newsletter, social media postings or other communications, or place an order, with the exception of debit/credit card information that we never store. If you would like to receive our newsletter, it requires consent from you.
When you shop at jysk.ae, your debit/credit card payment is made via a secure connection directly with our payment partner, which ensures that your payment information cannot be accessed by us or an unwelcome third party.

We do not use your telephone number to contact you for sales calls. You will only be contacted by us or by our delivery/assembly service provider by telephone if there is a problem with your order and/or to obtain information about your delivery and (if ordered) assembly services.
We will use your telephone number to send SMS or WhatsApp messages to you and send emails to your email address to inform you about our latest offers and events.
We only transfer personal data to relevant service providers related to delivery and (if ordered) assembly services and do not transfer, sell or in any way make your personal information accessible to other third parties and other companies.
Your personal data may be used in the event of a police investigation, as we report fraudulent payments to the police. We release account and other personal information when we find it necessary in order to comply with applicable laws and to prevent theft and fraud, e.g. in connection with debit/credit cards.
The processing of your personal data is necessary for completing your order. We store your data for 5 years after the date of your purchase.
The legal basis for processing your personal data is the consent you have provided by setting up a profile.
Products and Services Pricing
The jysk.ae website allows you to order and have delivered to and (if ordered) assembled at your home a wide selection of products from the assortment offered in our physical stores, including: furniture for home and garden; mattresses, duvets, pillows and covers; rugs, cushions, towels; and other home accessories and decorations.
The price of the individual item is listed in the item overview, on the item page, and in the shopping basket.
The price of the individual item includes VAT. It is the price of the item at the time of purchase that you have to pay.
The price of the individual item does not include freight costs as the freight costs depend on the delivery. The price also does not include assembly costs since assembly must be ordered as a separate service.
The availability and cost of products are subject to sold-out situations as well as printing and pricing errors. This applies for both printed offers and any information on this website.
All prices are current and are updated on a regular basis. In the event of a pricing error, we will correct it as quickly as possible.
If, by mistake, we have underpriced an item, we will not be liable to supply that item to you at the stated price, provided that we notify you before we dispatch the item to you. In those circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel your order. In the event that we cancel your order, we will give you a full refund on any amount already paid including freight and assembly costs.
Method of Payment, Card Types Accepted and Payment Currency
In the shopping basket you will see the total price of your purchase, including VAT, freight and (when ordered) assembly costs. This is the total purchase price to be paid.
We accept payment in AED for products purchased on jysk.ae with the following debit/credit cards:
We also accept, for orders up to AED 3,500 including delivery and assembly services, cash on delivery in AED. For cash on delivery orders, we add an AED 10 processing fee and will collect the cash from you before unloading the products from the delivery vehicle.
When you pay by debit/credit card, you are protected against fraud/faulty goods with no self-risk. Debit/credit card protection helps you get a full refund from your card provider.
Your payment is completed using a secure and encrypted connection to ensure that your payment information cannot be accessed by an unauthorised third party. Your payment is guaranteed through our payment partner.
We guarantee that we will not save any debit/credit card information on our own server and so cannot access any of your debit/credit card information at any time.
When making your purchase, you will be asked to provide the following information:
Debit/credit card number (printed on the front of your card)
Expiry date (printed on the front of your card)
Security code (3 or 4 digit security code printed on the front or back of your card)
Delivery and Assembly
Orders for smaller items (those with dimensions less than 110x85x85cm and weighing less than 30kg) where you have not ordered any assembly services will be delivered during the 3 days after the day that you placed the order and you will be contacted by our delivery partner shortly before the delivery is to be made. For orders that include items with larger dimensions or that weigh more or for any orders where you have ordered assembly services, you will be contacted by us or by our delivery partner to make an appointment for the delivery and/or assembly.
Deliveries and (if ordered) assembly services will only be made against full advance payment for the order. Prices for these services are as follows:
Dubai – Up to AED 110
Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman, Fujairah – Up to AED 220
Other delivery and assembly services
Express delivery – AED 500
Assembly cost for all items in an order – AED 120
Collection of items if any returns – Up to AED 110
We will always attempt to deliver an order to you and (if ordered) assemble the products for you in one visit. Should we need to make the delivery and/or assembly in multiple visits, you will still only be charged for a single delivery and assembly visit unless the multiple delivery and assembly visits have been instructed by you (for example, you request some products to be delivered and/or assembled this week and others to be delivered and/or assembled in the following week).
ae will not deal or provide any services or products to any of the countries or persons sanctioned by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), in accordance with the law of the United Arab Emirates.
Returns, Exchanges and Cancellations
Our returns, exchanges and cancellations policy guarantees your rights.
Unused goods can be returned in their original packaging within 30 days from the date of delivery.
You will need to provide the original purchase receipt/invoice and delivery note.
In case of loss of the original purchase receipt and delivery note or damage to the original packaging, we reserve the right to not accept the return or exchange of the product.
For hygiene reasons, unwrapped bed linen, towels and basic and Plus mattresses that have been removed from their original packaging cannot be returned or exchanged unless they have manufacturing defects. For hygiene reasons, we also reserve the right not to accept the return or exchange of bed sheets, quilts, cushions or pillows.
Products should be thoroughly checked at the time of receipt for their quality and condition to ensure that no damage has occurred during transit and you will be asked at the time of delivery to sign a Proof of Delivery acknowledging that you have received the products and verified their quality and condition. Assembled items, such as furniture, cannot be returned or exchanged except when manufacturing defects are present.
Display pieces and defective or damaged items of which you are aware and which are sold at discount will not be accepted for refund or exchange.
Faulty items can only be returned or exchanged when a repair is not possible.
Order cancellations are settled through a credit note that is valid for 90 days from the date of issue.
Should, in exceptional circumstances, you be charged more or less than the price specified in the final shopping basket, we will refund to you the excess amount or recover the shortfall at no additional charge to you.
Any refunds of purchases made with a debit/credit card will only be made to the same debit/credit card. Any purchases made in cash will either be refunded in cash if you visit one of our stores or by bank transfer, in which case we will contact you to obtain the bank details to which the transfer is to be made.
Terms specific to business to business transactions
Not all of our products are manufactured for commercial use, where harder wear and tear can be expected on products than with private use. If the products are used for commercial purposes, this purchase is therefore not covered by our normal consumer warranty. If you need more specific instructions on what products we recommend for commercial use, you can contact our customer service.
Note that the right of return is void for commercial purposes. It is therefore not possible to withdraw from a purchase that has been bought and delivered in a commercial context.
Under no circumstances are we liable for loss of profits, loss of operations or other indirect loss.
